Priceline Hotel: 4* DC (White House-Downtown) Renaissance Mayflower

I am looking for a 4 star hotel in downtown Washington, DC. My wife and I are attending a wedding in Georgetown with the reception near the White House. This is also a mini-vacation, so we would like to be somewhere that is accessible to all of the tourist attractions. Our back up plan is the Hilton Garden Inn in Greenbelt, MD for $110 a night. However, we would be outside of downtown DC and would have to rent a car, which would cost more money. Then we would have to find parking in DC. We would like to avoid this hassle.

So I guess we are looking to spend less than $110 for a hotel in Downtown DC. If we have to drop down a star level, that would be possible also.

As you can see, I went in $10 increments instead of five, so I possibly could have gotten it for $90.

I am actually staying in DC until 9/18, but I was up to $120 a night bidding on 9/13-9/18, so I made the date one night earlier hoping to add a night. Unfortunately, when I tried to add a night, it would not allow me to do so. So now I am going to have to find a hotel for one more night. Any suggestions?

Was the "add a nite" feature not offered or did you try to add a nite and were told that there was availability?

The "add a nite" feature was offered, but when I tried to add the final night, Priceline said I could not get the last night for the same price.
