Priceline Hotel: 3* Hawaii (Kona) Holua Resort at the Mauna Loa Village

well..I was really hoping to get the Royal Kona Resort :)

Instead I got the Holua Resort at the Mauna Loa Village

for a bid of 80.00. It seems to go for 130.00 on the average. So it wasn't a bad savings

It looks like a nice condo though :)

I tried the RESORT first for 90.00 in the KONA AREA, priceline responded with for 22.00 more I could get a room. I'm not quite sure of what hotel I would have been given. I've been going by the hotels you have listed on this site and there aren't many in the Kona area.

If I couldn't get the RESORT for dirt cheap !!! I went to the 3* hoping that I'd get Royal Kona Resort. According to the hotels you have listed I had a chance of the Royal Kona Resort or the Outrigger.

I passed on the RESORT and went for the 80.00 for the 3 * in the KONA AREA(there was no 4* option for that area). I got the Holua Resort at the mauna loa village. The dates are in September 19-23.

You might want to add this to your priceline list of hotels ?
