If i had to take a guess, i'd think the Churchill is a possibility, but don't have a high degree of confidence in it as there isn't really much to do by in order to make an educated guess.

I booked the hotel through the HOTWIRE link. It ended up being the Hilton Washington & Towers.

Certainly sounds like a better outcome than the Churchill... i usually prefer major chains as there is a bit more oversight should there be any problem(s).

I also prefer chains - plus I'm silver level with Hilton so maybe that will help.

I have a question about the listed amenities though - according to the hotel's website it has a pool and a spa but neither was listed on the Hotwire listing. Will that happen often?

Some hotels don't show all the amenities to increase opacity, others change them around from time to time, etc, etc. Nothing states that all amenities have to be shown, only that all the amenities shown have to be there. For example, i'm sure this hotel offers hi-speed internet as well... yet that amenity isn't shown either (this is probably the most common amenity 'left out', especially now that it is common in the majority of hotels across the country in the US)
