Just completed a single night stay. The hotel opened in October 06. It shows as new. The location is on the west edge of Edmonton so it's best suited to those intent on seeing West Edmonton Mall or don't mind a commute.

On arrival the size of the parking lot strikes you. The hotel is attached to a casino and has acres of parking available. The lobby is very large. with high ceilings and a rich ambiance. Decor is upscale casual. The desk clerk was friendly and the check in process fairly quick. Our fourth floor room was average sized with two beds, spotless, with high quality bedding and textured carpeting. The room had a 32" LCD TV. Free channel selection wasn't that extensive. Furniture quality is well above the average. The bathroom toiletries were of good quality and the towels thick and absorbant. The bathroom had both a shower and a deep tub. Lots of water pressure with a large shower head and an attractive arched curtain rod.

I glanced at the fitness room. Easily the best equipped room I've seen in hotel not affiliated with a gym.

I didn't use the restaurants. The room service menu is quite pricey. There is a Starbucks within walking distance otherwise dozens of restaurants are 5-10 minutes away by car.

The hotel is an easy 3* as Priceline describes it. I paid $53 + fees/taxes. Having stayed at half a dozen hotels in Edmonton, this would be my first choice when I don't need to stay downtown.

Recently back from our stay .........very nice hotel. Currently just outside of town but developments popping up all around......nothing in the immediate are buy only 5-10 minute easy drive to West Edmonton Mall. Restaurant offers a very nice buffet at a very reasonable price.......breakfast, lunch & supper.

At checkin we were able to get 2 double (not queen beds) to accomodate our family of 4........checkin staff did not treat us any differently than any other guest.

Overall a very nice stay.........very happy.
