Whiskers Merryweather Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 Used the link from savingsbarn.com. Bid $55 and then $65, got it at $65. Only one free re-bid zone at this level in Long Beach, but $65 seems to be the going rate on priceline for this hotel over the last coupe years. It's available on the Crowne Plaza website for $80 for these dates, so it's not a huge discount, but I'll take it. Taxes and fees are $27.15 for total of $157.15.
thereuare Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.com to begin your bidding.Glad to hear you're happy with the results. (btw, i'm showing $159/nite for these dates)Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Whiskers Merryweather Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 you're right, it is 159 for those dates. I was also looking at the Holiday Inn San Pedro/Los Angeles Harbor (which comes up when you do a search on the ichotelsgroup.com website) and got confused between the prices of the two when I was posting -- I think $159 must have just seemed too good to be true to me after I got it for $65!
