but what sucks is that guest parking is 38 dollars a night! airport parking is $25 a night. I'm thinknig of parking my car at the off airport economy lots and then using their shuttles to go back and forth to the car since the hotel is at the terminals.

any other ideas for parking? are there any nearby park and ride parking lots? that would be a lot cheaper!

Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board.

Was this your first bid in the zone?

Do you need your car during your stay? If you're heading downtown could you just take the train? (and the hassle of traffic and/or parking expense in the city)

ok so instead of paying $25 per night for airport parking, or $38 per night for hilton valet parking i did the following:

I parked at the Park and Ride near the Rosemont convention center. It's off of the I-190 and River Rd.

Paid 3 dollars for 15 hours parking. then took the CTA train for 2 bucks to o'hare... which was the next stop over.

Yes it may sound like a hassle to do this, but it didn't take very long to do this at all. I think it was worth the time. Just didn't find it worth the money staying there for 3 nights and paying so much for parking.

Hopefully this tip helps other people. Chicago parking really sucks

Thanks for the tip. I always get nervous using Priceline because I'm always afraid I'll get stuck with this hotel and have to pay the expensive parking costs. While it does seem like a bit of a hassel it is definately worth saving that much money on parking.
