genny Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 i need a hotel for july 24-31st at a 3 star rate in midtown east west south or soho and i've been trying all weekive been rejected at the most 120 how high will i have to go to get a hotel and secondly how bad or good is a 2 1/2 star hotel my girlfriend and i just need a safe place to sleepplease help!!!

(SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID)What are the rates for the 'likely' 3* hotels in the area? If there's one day that the rate is very high, then this could prevent a PL win over the whole week.Have you looked at HOTWIRE for availability and prices, usually gives an indication of what PL may have - and with PL, winning bids tend to be cheaper.Have you seen the win reported here? Looks like there's inventory over some of your days.2.5* hotels in NYC are not recommended :)
