Statue of liberty, WTC, Empire state, couple of museums, etc. Most of the stuff described in the new york pass basically.We are two of us, young enough to walk and take the subway/bus. No car. I dont mind paying a maximum of $135 per night to be close to all the places above. I dont mind going a bit futher away.I was considering brooklyn ($80/night) but read a post recommending against it. I tried to look on various sites as to how far I can afford to be and get easy public transport, but it seems very hard. Is new jersey an option? Will I save hotel money? I dont mind paying a bit more to get a better hotel but nothing outrageous (for me anything over $150)I have already tried priceline.com with max bid of 170 for 4* and 140 for 3* around MTE etc.
