raynedance Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 My husband and I are going to Vegas to celebrate our anniversary in October. I'd like to see if I can get the Venetian through Priceline, but I'm not sure how much to bid or how exactly to go about it. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks so much.
thereuare Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Since you can not guarantee a handicapped room when using priceline... are you willing/able to bid on this stay? raynedance Posted July 19, 2007 Author Report Posted July 19, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Since you can not guarantee a handicapped room when using priceline... are you willing/able to bid on this stay?I am willing to bid on the stay. I've bid with Priceline before and it worked out fine, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

raynedance Posted July 20, 2007 Author Report Posted July 20, 2007 What is your maximum bid for this stay?To be honest I'm not sure what would be appropriate. It's a weekday stay (so it should be less than a weekend) and ideally I'd like to stay under $120/night. Is that realistic? Is there any chance of getting it for under $100/night?
thereuare Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 You can't generalize with "midweek" and "weekend" stays as rates are date specific. If you check(ed) the Venetian website you'll see that even though these are midweek dates, rates are very high... $379/nite average over the three nite stay. As a result, i don't think there is any chance of you having succes at $120 or less. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
