BigDogBK Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 My wife and I will be traveling to Vegas the first week of September for two nights only. 9/5 - 9/7. Our main purpose of the trip is to see Incubus play at the Hardrock, but would prefer to stay on the strip.I have never used Priceline or Hotwire. We are looking for the best bargain, and don't really care where we stay as long as it has a clean room, and a nice pool.Any suggestions? We would like to spend between $75 - $125 per night. would spend more if the deal was there. Thanks!
thereuare Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! For your first trip to Vegas i would certainly recommend you stay on the strip.Based upon your criteria it depends upon what you consider to be "value"... you could book a place like the Imperial Palace which is 'alright' for $50/nite and rave about the $50 hotel room you got in Vegas (although their pool is extremely lacking), but i would sooner recommend you "do it right" and book the Mirage for $119/nite. They have a great pool area and it has a good strip location with plenty to see and do in the immediate area.I wouldn't use priceline as you could easily end up at a place with a 'not so great pool area' (which you state is a criteria of yours) and a quick search of HOTWIRE reveals nothing substantially cheaper than i would not just book the Mirage. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
