ydave77 Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Hi I am traveling to Las Vegas 9/27 - 9/30 and would appreciate any assistance on how to get the cheapest hotel possible. I have never used Priceline, or Hotwire, but am willing to do whatever to get the cheapest hotel. I am looking to book 2 rooms. The hotels that would be acceptable include5* Venetian4* Aladdin4* Luxor4* MGM Grand4* Monte Carlo4* NYNY4* Treasure Island4* The Westin FlamingoMandalay Bay ExcaliburParisTIBallysOh and I guess Bellagioor Wynn would be ok too (haha).I feel pretty flexible but I want one of those hotels. Whats my best bet? And if I did priceline, how should i go about it? Initial bid, etc. Thanks so much.Dave
thereuare Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!I feel pretty flexible but I want one of those hotels. When using the opaque providers you can't choose the hotel you will receive. I haven't compared your list of acceptable properties to those in our hotel list, but even if the hotels are the same, you could always be the first to receive a new hotel to add to the list. Is this a condition you're willing to accept? If so, what is your maximum budget? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
ydave77 Posted July 16, 2007 Author Report Posted July 16, 2007 Well I really do want to be on the strip, but I guess its vegas, and I am willing to gamble that I wont be the first one to receive a new hotel . So I woudl be wiling to give it a shot.My max budget is prob 140/nite.Thanks for the helpDave
