Priceline Hotel: quebec hotel- old port area

i am planning on going to quebec around the period July 26 to August 9. My plans are open and would like to stay for four nights in the old port area.Looking for a 3 star or better hotel. How should i start my bidding on HOTWIRE.

If you go to HOTWIRE and do a search for the various potential dates... are there any properties offered within your budget and at a star rating you're comfortable with? If so, what are the dates of that stay and the star rating and amenities associated with the property(s) being offered?
