scw1605 Posted July 14, 2007 Report Posted July 14, 2007 Hi,I started bidding at $70 (on 7/11) and worked my way up in $5 increments adding new locations for the Inner Harbor. All failed up to maybe $90.I tried again the next day (7/12), starting at $70 again, and just checking Inner Harbor, and was planning to do $10 increments this time, but was offered to increase my bid by $22 after I bid the $70. I read a lot of people don't accept the counteroffer but I just went for it because I was getting nervous that such a nice hotel would not last for long. So $92 for a $269 or $289 room is not bad especially only a couple weeks away. Thanks for all your help. I originally had a 2 star hotel booked 20 min. outside of the city for $129 a night (from Hotels.com) but cancelled after I found your website.Let me know if you want anymore information.
