Priceline Hotel: Looking to get Grand Hyatt at USE

Hi,

I am looking to get Grand Hyatt San Francisco USE for Sep1 thru sep 5, either from hotwire or PL. Any suggestion? I saw one person get it in Pl for 120 but i also noticed someone else got Omni for $88. I have a feeling if i bid 120 in USE I may get Omni.

You can not bid on a specific hotel. If you could, why would anyone ever book direclty? (at much higher rates) The deep discounts you see on the board are in exchange for being flexible in the actual hotel you will receive.

Yes, you may get the Omni.... but you may also get any other 4* rated hotel in this zone. We don't recommend overbidding for a hotel, as discussed in this thread: Don't Bid Higher for a Specific Hotel.

If you must have a particular hotel your best bet is probably to book direct with the hotel you want. If you're open to some risk, you can do a HOTWIRE search and see if any of the hotels offered match what has previously been reported for the hotel you're seeking. This increases your chances of receiving the hotel you wanted, but still not guaranteed, as there could be other hotels in the area with the same amenitiy and star rating combiantion.
