Colfax Posted July 4, 2007 Report Share Posted July 4, 2007 I coached a colleague at work through this one.Counteroffer at $46 and went up in $1 increments until success at $51.I lauged at the outcome because I've never been able to win this Residence Inn for myself. Bidding for someone else I got it the first time.Based on recent history $51 is a very good rate for weekdays in South Natomas zone. Link to comment

Colfax Posted July 4, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2007 South Natomas is about 2 miles north of Downtown Sacramento on I-5. It's also the nearest Priceline zone to Sacramento's airport. It's a good zone for 2.5* bidders because all four 2.5* hotels in South Natomas have free parking and internet (two of those also have free breakfast), and there are no 3* hotels which can lead to unwanted "upgrades".
