jprof Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 Was looking for a 4-star room at the last minute after a quick switch of anniversary trip destination when we couldn't find a room in our budget in Montreal. Went through savingsbarn.com and ..Bid $100 for a 4-n star in Boston (Copley). RejectedBid $110 and added Brighton Brookline, which has no 4-star PL properties. Rejected.Bid $120 and added Medford-Somerville, which has no 4-star PL properties. Rejected.Bid $130 and added Downtown-Charlestown, where we were happy to stay. Rejected.Bid $140 and added South Boston, which has no 4-star PL properties. Rejected.Bid $150 and added Boston (Financial District). AcceptedNine Zero is "pet friendly," which gives me pause as I thing of all the paws that might have been on the carpet. But the cheapest rate through the hotel's Web site is $259. So perhaps this is not too bad.

This chain usually does a good job at keeping their "boutique" hotels clean so i wouldn't worry about the pet friendly issue too much.Thakns you for sharing your win with the board and for starting your bid with the SavingsBarn.com PRICELINE links.Enjoy your stay and have a happy anniversary :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
