freequent
Should I be worried about not getting the Mustang or Sebring the major rental companies have? When I used the Better Bidding car rental checker Hertz had "mini" and "compact" size convertibles. These did have higher rates then the standard convertible, but still worried about getting a miata for 3 people and luggage. Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
I woudln't be worried about it... but why not call Hertz to see what car(s) they classify as 'mini convertible' and 'compact convertible'. I would expect that Miatas wouldn't be on the car rental lots for precisely the reason you point out... rentals are mostly to those traveling, who typically have luggage, and there for such a car would not fit the plans of the majority of travelers. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
freequent
Thanks for the reply.Pulling up convertibles on the hertz website for my airport and arrival dates show about 5 different cars. The mini is a Crossfire and compact is the Miata. But, like I said they have higher rates. Will try priceline and post what I get. Link to comment
