gthack Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 I bid $46 on the 2.5* hoping to get a residence inn or courtyard. I bid a few times around in the 40s a few nights earlier with no luck. On the 21st I bid $46 on my first bid and was offerred the opportunity to rebid free if I went up $13. Since I was looking to beat $60, I took the offer at $59. I was also given an "Upgrade" to a 3* (without prior notice.) The Westin was being listed on Hotwire at $63/nt, so this doesn't feel like a great deal, especially given some of the poor reviews for this hotel. Oh, well, hopefully my grandmother will like this better than the $68/nt Days Inn she had booked for herself :)
