Priceline Hotel: 5* Athens InterContinental Athenaeum

I don't see many bids for Athens nor did I see a hotel list here. I am trying to get a 5 star for Aug 11 for 1 night. I might settle for a 4 star. So far I have bid $112 for a 5 star with no luck and $89 for a 4 star with no luck.

I am bidding in 1 hour threw www.savingsbarn.com for PL. Is there a better way then going up a dollar a day? I have not had any replies in 24 hours.

Have you checked CheapTickets... they list quite a few 4* and 5* hotels at amounts equal to less than you have already bid.

Rates are not high and i would just wait a week before raising my bid any more... if the above Cheap Ticket properties don't work for you, find something cancellable to book as a back-up.

I see plenty of hotels in the $100-$125 area thru EasyClickTravel and GTA Hotels... do any of those work for your needs?

I have tried those links. If I have to book I will book at the Sofitel by the airport. proble is it will cost me over $210 but it is close to the airport.

Well lookie here, I got it at 6 dollars less than my max that I was willing to go.
