Hi,

Can you please help me as to what I should be my bidding strategy?

Checkin: 06/29/2007

Checkout: 07/01/2007 (2 days)

Preferably in the Portland (Tigard) area.

2.5* - 3*

My max is $45.

At the 3* level you have two re-bid zones... none at the 2.5* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 3* Tigard...

Bid $37, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $39, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* Tigard and re-bid zone2...

Bid $42, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $45.

If the above is rejected i'd try:

Select 2.5* Tigard...

Bid $39.

Bid successfully! Got the Hilton Garden Inn (Tigard) for $39.

Tried bidding for the 3* and went up to $43 but no go.

Then tried 2.5* at $39 and was accepted.

Based on the review, seems to be a pretty good hotel. And based on Hilton's website, lowest rate is $100, so this is a big savings!
