I'll be staying in San Francisco from 7/4/07 to 7/9/07 or from 7/4 to 7/8/07

For my possible stay between 7/4 and 7/9, hotwire lists a 4* Embarcadero area property at $114 a night. This hotel includes a fitness center, restaurant(s), a business center, and high-speed internet access.

For my possible stay between 7/4 and 7/8, hotwire lists three 4* properties. The first of which is an Embarcadero area property listed at $93 nightly. Amenities include a fitness center, restaurant(s), a business center, and high-speed internet access. The second accommodation is a USW property listed at $114 nightly. Amenities include a fitness center, restaurant(s), a business center, high-speed internet access, and pool(s).

The third and final 4* accommodation is a USE property listed at $119 nightly. Amenities include fitness center, restaurant(s), a business center, and high-speed internet access.

Sorry for such a long post, but help identifying the following properties would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, myself (an adult) and two children will be staying.

With regard to the Embarcadero zone, the 4* you're seeing for both 7/4-7/8 and 7/4-7/9 appear to be the same hotel, since the customer service comments are identical to one another. If you're not familiar with the Hotwire hotel list here, this property would be a match for either the Omni or Hyatt Regency Embarcadero. Unfortunately, the customer favorite comments are too vague do differentiate which hotel this is. Both hotels, however, are of good quality. I suspect the reason you're seeing a higher price for the 7/4-7/9 stay is because you're including a regular, business weekday (Monday 7/9) into the mix. Although the 7/4-7/8 stay involves weekdays, it stands to reason this is actually a long, holiday weekend with little "business" travel expected.

From my experience, the Hilton Financial District comes up with a Spa amenity as well as the other four listed. I agree with BEAV that the particular property is either the Omni or Hyatt, and I would lean towards it being the Hyatt, and be thrilled if it were the Omni. Good luck.

In regards to the Union Square West property you inquired about above... it is a match for both the Hilton Towers and the Hotel Nikko, so either of those would be our best guess.
