canuckfan
Hi Everyone, I was checking out the boards to do some research on hotwire hotels for TO; first-time poster. I've just booked the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, which is precisely the hotel we wanted. It was described as:4-star hotel in Downtown Toronto West Best ValueCustomer FavouriteFitness CentreRestaurantHi-Speed InternetPoolBusiness CentreSpaCustomer Reviews 4/5240+ customer reviewslast reviewed May 200711.8miles to YYZ (this is the geographical distance, not the travelling distance)A few days ago, the price was seventy-something but I just decided to book at $85. It's now at $89For some reason, the Retail price is also drastically lower than it was when I looked at it last week - Anyone know why there's such a fluctuation?? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your results with the board. Glad to hear the board was helpful in your purchase and you received the hotel you were hoping for.You should ignore the 'retail price' as it doesn't necessarily refer to this particular property, but rather for a hotel at this star level in this zone (which may or may not be this particular hotel)... perhaps the hotel they're using at this star level and in this zone has lowered their price?Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
