Priceline Hotel: 3* Orlando (Universal-SeaWorld) Sheraton Studio City

I got this hotel in the Seaworld/Uni Zone through Priceline for $51 for June 23-25.

Started really low at 35. Failed at 45; got a hit at $51. I was thinking I would get the Wyndham, which I have gotten at $50 before (November 2006)...it is especially nice when they are not booked to capacity, because they will often put you in a suite there.

I find a real difference between Priceline star levels and HOTWIRE. I have never been disappointed with Priceline hotels, but the 2.5s I have gotten through Hotwire have been awful, and I am not a picky or prissy person at all. I disliked the Sleepy Bear Inn ($30 Hotwire, November '06) and the Royal Celebration Inn at Lake Cecile ($37; Hotwire;March of 2007) was not only dirty and old, it made me feel unsafe.
