I started my bidding days ago, at $50 and slowly worked up to $110. I wanted to be in Carlsbad and I knew that there were only 2.5 * in that area based on my bidding. I kept increasing my bid by $5 and chose to add only locations that had a 2* or less rating. I thought I was going to get the Holiday INN Carlsbad, so the Courtyard must be a new listing that hasn't been won before. With tax the total was $130.64

The current room rate for that hotel is $189 with AAA discount.
