The 3* in Markham is a match for the Holiday Inn so that would be our best guess.

As far as the North York hotels... did you see there is also a 3* for ~$75/nite, which would seem to be a much better value (higher star rating and similar price) than any of the two you referenced above. The amenities fo the 3* match those of the Novotel, so that would be our best guess for that property.
