No love from Priceline

5* (Minato-ku - Shinagawa-ku) no hit at $101

4* (Shinjuku-ku - Ikebukuro) no hit at $91

Rack rates are low for reported places. $150/5* - $130/4*

Rack rates are low, and your bids are almost at typically accepted bids for these hotels (a little short on the 5*, at accepted bids for the 4*)... but the recently weak US dollar may be affecting this somewhat, and you may want to increase just a $1 or $2 to account for any change in currency.

Still plenty of time.

Rack rates are still the same for reported places. $150/5* - $130/4*

I will not go higher. My back-up is $85 inc tax. But I will keep trying.

I know I'm the one that says that you can't rely on old wins. But it's strange for the 4*, might not have any PL inventory. $95 is the typically reported rate for this hotel.

... and rates at the 4* property are not out of line with the "norm".

Maybe the revenue manager is slow in loading/updating rates... hopefully something will open up soon.
