I was looking for a 4* in downtwon for next Saturday night(I live in the OC and wanted to take the train into downtown and be able to take the subway from Union Station. I knew all of the 4* hotels are within walking distance of the subway.

I first bid using 4* in downtown only and used these areas that do not have 4* as my re-bids:

Brentwood

Culver City

Lowndale

Redondo Beach

Santa Monica

I was out of re-bids so I would have waited a couple of days to try again (I hope this would have been allowed because I really did need this hotel stay so I could visit my family this weekend!)

Thanks for the information on this site, It makes Priceline more like booking a room, and less like throwing dice.

For priceline wins it's not necessary to include the amenites (only for HOTWIRE as that can be used to help ID the properties before purchase)
