Oboy
Do any rental companies specifically rent hybrids yet? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I would guess it differs from property to property, since all don't get fleet deliveries at the same time... so your best bet would be to call around to the major companies (the actual location, not the 800 number) to ask if they have hybrid vehicles.I'm sure we'll start to see more hybrids in the future, but the rental companies are likley dragging their feet in a full roll-out since:-hybrids are more expensive to purchase-new technology so their mechanics need to be re-trained-advantage (besides emissions) is fuel savings... which the consumer pays for anyway, so little incentive for the car rental companies to make the transition Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
janewb
Hertz now has what they refer to as their 'Green Collection' which I think includes Hybrids. Link to comment
