Four Star 200+ TripAdvisor reviewsAmenities:ResortBeachfrontcasinoPoolBusiness CenterTennisSpaChildrens ActivitiesReally wanted this hotel!!!! Booked first 4 days of my trip to see what it was then quickly booked the remaining 3 at same hotel. Lowest rate at this time is AAA $450. Since I have a Monday-Monday airfare, I wanted to be sure of getting my hotel. Always wanted to stay here:)!!!
KateH Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 I've been eyeing Aruba around that same time frame, and also figured the 4 star was the Hyatt! Thanks for sharing, I might just have to book!

jerseybird50 Posted June 6, 2007 Author Report Posted June 6, 2007 Yes, the F fitness icon and the R restaurant icon do appear. I have gone back since bookiing and it looks like the price has gone up slightly since this morning. I did notice that when I had tried for the entire weeks stay, the price was $400, but when I split the week ,, the price was $379. Also, the booking is for 2 Adults and 2 children. When I tried for 4 Adults, the price was slightly higher, probably due to an extra person charge.
jerseybird50 Posted June 8, 2007 Author Report Posted June 8, 2007 I should caution that Aruba hotels also charge quite a bit of tax. The Hyatt adds on a whopping 22%!!2% service,6% occupancy,15% service fees added in both on HotWire and Hyatt.com. So definately NOT a budgeters delight. I have been to Aruba and there are less pricey hotels . I only booked because I know the Hyatt does sell out during this school vacation week and I wanted to ensure my dates with this particular hotel at a lesser price than the Hyatt.com AAA rate of $450 plus taxes.
