I was thinking embassy for the 3.5* but there is no restaurant listed in the amenities. Also, what is the likelyhood of being able to request a single king bed instead of 2 doubles for a hotel through priceline (June 10th, not a busy night). Thanks!
yellowdog Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 xthetigerx - welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post your date(s) for your HOTWIRE stay. Most hotels are willing to help you with your request for beds. I allways call when I have the hotel confirmed, and most of the times is there no problem. But some hotel have "Priceline rooms" and you're stuck with the room/bed(s) they give you. Henrik.
xthetigerx Posted May 31, 2007 Author Report Posted May 31, 2007 This is for one night, checking in June 10th checking out june 11th.
thereuare Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Please doublecheck the HOTWIRE amenities... does the 3.5* hotel also have a Restaurant icon associated with it? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
xthetigerx Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 No restaurant icon, I just re-checked. Also, its now up to $69 for the 3.5* the 3 star is still $59.There is now a 2.5* (also near MCO) that offersSuiteAirport ShuttleComplimentary BreakfastFitness CenterPool(s)Laundry FacilitiesHigh-speed Internet Accessand I can't find a match in the florida - hotwire list, any ideas for any of these?
thereuare Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 The hotels above have not yet been identified. The 2.5* may be the Amerisuites Northwest as it has been appearing frequently on Priceline lately. Not sure of the 3* or the 3.5*, but the 3.5* has a very high Tripadvisor rating and for $5 more i would definately go with that one versus the 3* property.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help. xthetigerx Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 Hey,Thanks for all the help so far. I'm still waffling between the 2.5 and 3.5*. The 3.5* is now down to $66. Should I wait more for it to go down even farther? How did you get the tripadvisor rating for the 3.5*?I'm trying to click through your HOTWIRE link, but it just redirects me to http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?...e=3&subid=0 and stalls out, is there something I can do to make it work? I want to help you guys out if I can.
thereuare Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Regarding the link, see the message i sent you.As far as prices going up or down, see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ regarding "bidding early or close to check-in"The Tripadvisor rating can sometimes be seen when you click "continue" (and then near the bottom of the page)... but i don't see it now, so it is possible i saw it for a different property since i did search a variety of dates trying to help ID this property. (edit: i think this is the case as you can see the 3.5* property shows the TripAdvisor rating for the dates of 6/10-6/12... which is close, but not a match, to the same property you're seeing above. Sorry for any confusion) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
