I first heard of priceline over at flyertalk.com and tried it with IMHO marvelous results.

The total was 196

centrally located on the Aussenalster:

An der Alster 52 - 56

Seen a special on this Hotel on TV, they opened just a few months ago and are very modern.

Designer interior, 42" Plasma TV.

Will post a review once I was there ;-.)

How much was this in US dollars? Using the Euro figure and the GBP figure i get very different US values.

If I'm not mistaken this is 49 Pounds per night, which equals about 88$ per night before tax. If you include the tax, that is about 85

checked in today:

pretty fancy hotel. Got a nice room with designer interior. 42" Plasma TV, free standing bath-tub and a shower with half a dozen nozzles.

As to be expected, no Alster view.

The elaborate breakfast buffet will be 19
