Good day experts,

I need an advice about bidding strategy with priceline (of course through savingsbarn.com).

I would like to stay in 4* hotel in San Fransisco (USE or USW) with lowest price possible.

Another area and/or star rating is not an option. Could someone show me how to do the bidding?

Also, are USE and USW considered safe during the night? (1st time in SF)

Thanks in advance,

Will T.

I'm not from the area but i would think that each is considered 'safe' (as much as any other large city) during the nite.

So we don't suggest a strategy that is more than you wish to spend, let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a startegy for you to follow.

Based on what I saw in this forum for these dates, I am willing to spend up to $75 a night for USE and USW.

Thanks in advance.

At the 4* level you have three re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* USE...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $64, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $66, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $68, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* USW...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $64, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $66, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $68, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* USE and USW...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $72, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $74, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

Hello,

Since I am not familiar with the area, when you said rebid zone, could you be more specific about which zone should I re-bid?

Thanks,

Will T.
