ClaireM Posted March 11, 2004 Author Report Posted March 11, 2004 oops sorry, new to this stuff!19th March - 24th March.
thereuare Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Is this property prices at $229?If so, why consider it when what is mostly like the 4* Embassy Suites is offered at $145. The Embassy Suites is one of the newest hotels in that area, includes free hot cooked-to-order breakfast (not insignificant in NYC), and in my opinion would be my preferred hotel if i wanted to stay in Lower Manhattan.I'm assuming you need/want to be in this area for a specific reason as it's not usually the first choice for tourists. If you have no specific need to be downtown, you may want to give this a read (written for Priceline, but equally applies to Hotwire with minor differences): NYC Priceline Zone Descriptions.Feel free to ask any additional questions you may have. ClaireM Posted March 11, 2004 Author Report Posted March 11, 2004 I figured the Embassy Suites were the cheaper option but I was just curious to see what hotel the 3.5* one was as it doesn't appear in the list of hotwire hotels. I wondered if Hotwire might've lowered the Tribeca grand to 3.5* as I'd like to stay there but $221 is a bit much for me.
