This really screwed up lists of possible hotels in areas... Well, good news is PL started displaying this information again! And it's even "retroactive"... Look at some of your older reservations and you will see that this information is there now.
thereuare Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 This is very good news.More important than keeping our lists in order, it removes any possible improprieties.Given the old system, what would prevent Priceline from rating a hotel 3* but then also rating it 4* when it suited their needs. The same hotel would have been won at both levels and the consumer would be left in the dark as to what quality hotel they were really staying at... and unknown quality is probably what keeps the potential Priceline and Hotwire buyer from uisng each service.
