(By the way, this hotel is one of the few that maintained good customer feedback in TripAdvisor - 4.5. Many of the more expensive hotels had spotty ratings.)

Interesting note: I made a mistake when I put my credit card # in. The first time using wrong info it just came back saying that they didn't take my bid. What was interesting was when it took the bid it wanted a new credit card. So what.... Well at that point I could have walked away because I was pushing my $$$ limit. Then maybe I could have came back later with a different strategy but at that point I knew the $$$ it was going to take to get the bid. I might have even changed the night I wanted it or other things. It just shows a little bit more how the system works and knowing when the bid is going to be accepted gives more control.
