4* Cleveland (Downtown)...Renaissance Hotel for June 2

May 20 - I bid three times for a four star hotel in downtown Cleveland and got my wish on the third try. On June 2, the Indians are playing the Tigers and the Cavaliers are scheduled to play the Pistons in game six if necessary at the Q.

$55, no (used Westlake as my alternate region, kept the 4*)

$60 (used Elyria as my alternate region, kept the 4*) - yes - Cleveland Renaissance Hotel - an awesome hotel right in downtown Cleveland (and the one I wanted). About sixteen dollars of tax added. I stayed there last year for a night/day game weekend with the Indians against Detroit. They held our bags (my wife and I) until after the Sunday game. I only had to pay for one night of valet parking ($25) which I would have easily spent had I driven to the ballgames from outside of central downtown.

The buy it price through Priceline was $149.00
