TIM V
Found this website so i was looking at the posts and it made me want to try Priceline out, since I never had used it before. Going to San Diego for Memorial Day weekend and was originally booked to stay at Homestead Suites Mission Valley at rate of $100/night +tax. So i got on priceline and wasnt really wanting to pay alot for a hotel, downtown was too expensive and I saw that Homestead was under the Priceline list, so I bid on other zones first for some more, and then added Mission Valley and low and behold I got the same hotel for $45/night, grand total of $118. Next time i know to use the SavingsBarn link to PRICELINE. thanks for the great info Link to comment

thereuare
On the 'review your critieria' page (after you select a zone, star rating, and bid amount) there is a checkbox to select insurance. It UNchecked by default, so not sure if you checked it by accident or what happened, but that is where the insurance selection is.
