Priceline Hotel: Help bidding 4* anywhere midtown 6/7 - 9/7

I'm all new to this so I'd appreciate help.

Looking into a nice midtown hotel and from the post I read you can get them cheap on priceline. I'm looking to put max 170 a night. Can go down to a 3* too I just want the nicest possible for less money :)

I'm assuming your dates are July 6th-July 9th and that you're fine with a 4* hotel in MTE, MTW and/or UM/CPS?
