Priceline Hotel: 3* Hartford (East) Sheraton

Was looking for a cheap room in the Harford area for one night (17/18 June 2007).

Started with trying to get a 4-star deluxe in the downtown area -- started at $47 and added in $5 increments, adding rebids, until reaching a high of $63. Bids were not accepted.

Closed browser and started new bid with East Hartford area at $37. Priceline counteroffered that it would be accepted if I increased my bid by $10. I declined, added rebid area (Farmington) and increased bid to $39. Bid accepted for the Sheraton Hartford Hotel.

As long as the two areas are equally fine to you it looks like the rejections in the West zone were a blessing in disguise.
