thereuare Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! This is a match for both the Park Central and the Novotel so either of those would be our best guess (the Park Central is probably seen more often than the Novotel). Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. klt Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 Are there limited hotwire options when booking for four people (2 adults, 2 children)?Would I be better off waiting for something better than the Park Central @$199? I assume more options may appear as we get closer to the date?
thereuare Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Your choices are limited when searching quad occupancy because many hotels in NYC can't accomodate four people (or haven't authorized HOTWIRE to offer quad occupancy)... so those are elimiate from the possibilities. As well, HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level in each zone, so you won't receive more offerings by waiting, although you may receive different offerings.Likewise, i think you would have more options if you were searching for double occupancy, but many hotels bump the rate when seeking more than double occupancy, so prices seem much higher than we're used to seeing (when seeking double occupancy)You could book the Helmsely Midtown thru Quickbook for $189/nite... it's cancellable so you could then use that as the "deal to beat".
