Wayne 458.69 miles.... 7 hours, 16 mins plus time at the borderI am on my way to New Mexico from Toronto ... for some interviews so I'll either be moving there or continuing on to Phoenix. ABQ is my first choise so I hope it works out...I called the hotel before bidding downtown .... they said parking is only $5.I tried $30, $32 and got accepted at $33 ... no counter-offers and no rebids ... thesqueegeekid Posted March 8, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2004 Car is great ... although, it took them 3 months to try and get a lock and finally, after my local dealership kept getting the wrong part (the codes are mixed up in Germany) ... they changed the entire lock set on the car for $3,000 at their expense of course.Once I get to ABQ ... some family friends have a bunch of motels/hotels? so, I won't be PL'ing .... they have offered me a room at one of their properties ...
