bimmer Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I was checking the Hotwire rate for ottawa hotels on May 19 & 20. The rates for 2 adults and 2 kids in 3.5* and 3* were $99 and $79 respectively. However, The rates for 2 adults and 2 kids in 3.5* and 3* were $103 and $114 respectively. This just does not make sense to me. Why the rate without kids is higher that the rate with kids? Do these hotels prefer more people in their rooms?
thereuare Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!I assume i the second set of prices quoted is for 2adults/0kids? (you have both sets of prices as 2adults/2children)Are they the same hotel(s) that are showing at each star level on each search? (based upon the amenities associated with each property) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
bimmer Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Posted May 15, 2007 That's ok. The $99 rate is gone and it is showing the same rates with or without kids. It was just strange to me that rates without kids were higher than with kids
