Looking to take kids (4 & 6) to see Vegas strip. Would like any of the nicer big hotel/casinos on the strip (personally doesn't have to be a 5*), but understand we must select 5* in order not to get less desirable off-strip located hotel. I've noticed in other threads something about Planet Hollywood Hotel being available (through EasyClickTravel?) at reasonable prices. It didn't come up when I tried it. Please help me with ideas/strategy for getting any nice hotel (MGM, Venetian, Planet Hollywood etc) on the strip for under $150.00 per night. We can travel either on June 15-17 or June 22-24. Thanks!

The 'problem' that you're going to have is that Priceline only guarantees double occupancy, so don't know if you're comfortable booking double occupancy when you'll be quad occupancy. HOTWIRE allows you to search up to quad occupancy, but in Vegas, many of the hotels are now charging (every heavily) for 3rd and 4th person in the room

For the first set of dates you can book double occupancy at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood for $135/nite... change that to 2adults/2children and the price skyrockets to $205/nite! :) (which proves the point above)

Let us know your thoughts on how you'd like to proceed.

Yikes is right! I had no idea. The whole point of going to Vegas this time is to show the kids so I can't change that. What if we book double occupancy and bring them anyway...would the hotel even notice? As long as I could get a guarantee of two double or queen beds that would work. Where are you finding the $135.00 room rate for Planet Hollywood/Alladin, is that directly through the hotel? Do I link through your site? The link on your reply doesn't work for me. I've never used Easyclicktravel so I'm unfamiliar with how you get such a good rate to come up.

Please send me a PM as to what happens when you click this Aladdin link (or the one above) so that we can straighten out the link issue.

Just following up on this one...we never ended up going to Vegas with the kids. Couldn't make it work.
