Been trying to figure these out for hours. Now I'm totally confused!

NYC 7/5-7/8

4*Times Sq./theater district Fitness center,Hi-sp internet, Restaurant $213

4* midtown central , Fitness, restaurant, hi-speed internet, business center $203 {? Millenium broadway}

3 1/2 * midtown central Fitness, Restaurant,Business center, hi-sp internet $182

Any help would be appreciated.

Before we ID the above, is there something particular you're looking for from this stay... the prices above seem high to me for this time of year. Are you looking to spend $200/nite for a room during this period?

If you want to spend $200/nite you can book the Fitzpatrick Manhattan or the Fitzpatrick Grand Central (both of which get great reivews which you can see HERE and HERE)... of you want less expensive you can book a 1BR suite at the Beekman Tower for $183/nite which also gets very good.

Well, I am trying to get a room for my daughter and her husband{from Denver, 1st time in NYC}. They don't want to pay a real lot but want someplace nice. I did check out the Fitzpatrick's and the Beekman and indeed they all seem very nice. I'm still curious as to the other hotels also for a larger choice of hotels. Thank you for your help.

I think you will see lower rates to come, which is why you want to book a suitable back-up at this point (using the links above are all cancellable up until a few days before the stay) and i would advise not to make a non-cancellable reservation at this point (at $200+... which i don't think will be as nice as the hotels mentioned above)

With the above noted, best guesses:

4* Times Square: doublecheck the HOTWIRE amenities... are those the only amenities shown (i show a 4* hotel in the Times Square zone for your dates with 5 amenity icons)

4* MTC: Helmsley Park Lane

3.5* MTC: Hudson Hotel

Yes, my mistake. The Times Sq./Theater district does have the 5th amenity. Spa.

Any idea on that hotel ?

Please include the full amenity list... using the three you've mentioned above, plus the Spa, is only four amenities... i recall seeing five yesterday but don't recall them.

This property is a match for the Westin (very nice hotel) so that would be our best guess.

To finish this subject up, I decided to try priceline for July 5-8th.

Won the W NY Hotel for $145.
