Good location on 34th St, about 10 min. from UofFla. Several chain type restaurants with 1 mile of hotel. Room was large, clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice upon checkin and even gave the HHonors points, but no breakfast eventhough I am Gold. For the price, $40; it is alot nicer than the chained hotels right off the inerstate. Would happily stay there again, especially for the price. Link to comment
kennancat Posted March 20, 2005 Report Share Posted March 20, 2005 I stayed here through Priceline in July of 2001. The hotel was run by Doubletree at the time. The staff was very nice - they weren't very booked, so they let us check in around 11 AM. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. I was very satisfied with my stay. I haven't been back since Hilton took over - I'm sure I would miss the cookies :) Link to comment
