john34
Hi, now I'm looking for rooms for a bachelor party. We are trying to stay cheap just to be in the area, any bidding strategy for this one? I'm assuming there won't be any rebid zones, so is there a price range I should keep in mind? Or just keep waiting 24 hr for the re bid? Thanks. Link to comment
blindman
HOTWIRE has a 2* at $45 that could be either the 2* Extended StayAmerica Clairmont or the Homestead Studio Suite North Druid HillsPL "Shop and Compare" only has the Super 8 Motel at $49 in the Buckhead area, other 1* properites are $44.IMHO I'd bid $20 -$30Good luck. john34
I ended up bidding for a 2.5* in Buckhead because the locations of the likely available hotels were better than the 1*'s and I think 2.5*'s in the area have a good chance to be suites (Amerisuites, etc.) which is what I was looking for.Rejected: $40, 42, 44, 46Accepted: $48SpringHill Suites Buckhead. Very nice property, well worth the priceline rate. Clean, comfortable rooms with a great complimentary continental breakfast. Think of a slightly upscale version of AmeriSuites. Of course, I booked using savingsbarn.com, and so should you. Link to comment
