sjone80 Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Hi I'm overwhelmed with so much information.I want a 4* hotel in New York from 06/05 for three nights for 1 adult and 2 children (16 and 13)I am worried about Priceline only guaranteeing double accommodation and having to ring the hotel requesting another bed. However I would like to try PricelineI'm prepared to stay anywhere in Manhattan for less than $170 is that unrealistic? We are also non US - from Australia Any suggestions???
blindman Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 G'day and welcome to Betterbidding.Hotel rooms in New York can be miniscule and often have problems fitting one double bed in them , let alone a 'rollaway'Have you looked at HOTWIRE ?You can specify how many adults are in your party and hotwire will return with a list of hotels that can accommodate you.Your budget may be a little low for a 4*Just to confuse you more there are areas in New Jersey (across the Hudson from Mahattan) that are usually cheaper.Would you consider this area?
