pterrell Posted April 22, 2007 Report Share Posted April 22, 2007 I got the Radisson Hotel Memphis Airport on a first bid of $40 for a 2.5*. Bid $40 based on posted low bid--still have a week, so I should tried lower...I've got an early morning flight and am driving in that night from Missouri, so I was looking for a place close to the airport. Was thinking Super 8 for AAA total rate of $58, so I saved $5 by using Priceline.Before bidding, I read the reviews that trash the hotel for being noisey, as it's next to the "FedEx" runway. When I first dated my wife, she asked me to take her to the SFO airport runway so that she could "feel the power of the jets". We'll see how she feels after our night at the Radisson. :) I suggest that the Radison and the Airport area be pinned to the Priceline List as it has shown up a few times on the message board.
