thereuare Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 We've edited the topic title... you can use the top line for the star rating, region, zone, and hotel... use the sub-topic line for price and dates... this way all the info fits.Do you notice a difference between the Extended StayAmerica and Extended Stay Deluxe properties? Thanks for the post and for using the SavingsBarn links. MikeMpls Posted April 18, 2007 Author Report Posted April 18, 2007 Extended Stay America (Bloomington $31) - unlocked, unsecure building, self checkin after hours, standard bathroom, smaller living area, did have small desk in addition to table, didn't notice any common areas on main level (but wasn't looking either), 2 burner cook-top (don't remember if there was an oven).Extended Stay Deluxe (O'Hare/ORD $35) - secure building (had to call & summon night clerk for 3 a.m. checkin; self-checkin combo boxes were there but unused), bathroom had inner tub/toilet room & outer sink/vanity area, larger living space overall, appeared to be large common area on main level, 20" 4-burner electric range. Both kitchens had full-sized fridge & microwave. There is a standard Extended Stay America next to the Extended Stay Deluxe at ORD but only the Deluxe seems to have any bidding history, they probably fill the cheaper ESA first. For our purposes (sleep, shower, run) either suffices well at these prices. :)
