Priceline Hotel: 4* Princeton (Princeton-Monmouth Junction) Westin

Need to be in the area for an upcoming party that will take place a little south of this hotel. Ideal would have been 3* Hyatt but bidding for that also subjects to the Radisson which we stayed at a year ago and is 'ok' but nothing special. Decided to try for the 3* area anyway figuring if it was cheap enough the Radisson would be fine (although i was hoping to avoid the Radisson by keeping my bids low).

Over a few days 3* bids were rejected at $32, $35, $36 (believed $37 to be the number to get the Radisson).

(NOTE: this area used to have a re-bid opportunity at the 3* level but no longer does)

Giving it some thought i decided that the 4* Westin at $50 (a likely figure) was a much better deal than the Radisson at $37, although i had to convince family members that it was still fine although a little more north of where we ideally want to be.

4* bids of $45 and $48 were rejected but each received a conter-offer for $58 (or it may have been $63, i forget). Decided to wait it out and a few days later i was accepted at $50.

Radisson $89 webrate/$109 cancellable

Hyatt $110 web rate/ $119 cancellable

Ended up looking at a map and this hotel is less than 2 miles north of the Radisson and less than 15 minutes to the party, so this will work out perfectly.

I have heard good things about this property and am looking forward to sleeping on that Heavenly Bed!!
